A loan helped to purchase a solar-powered lighting kit which will improve his quality of life.

Hermis's story

Hermis, 50 years old, has been a farmer and raised livestock for many years. He works planting basic grains in the community of Yoro, Honduras. He lives with his child and his spouse. For him, life in the countryside offers many benefits, but there are also some obstacles to face such as the lack of electricity. In his community, they do not have this basic service, so they have to use candles and kerosene lamps for lighting and to pay for the service of charging a cell phone.

For these reasons, Hermis asks Soluz Honduras for this loan to get a solar-powered lighting system so his house can have lighting and also to have the service of charging cell phones. It will also be of great help to his spouse to do the household tasks at night, so it will improve his family's quality of life.
