A loan helped a member to buy three truckloads of stones for construction, bolstering her initial capital.

Tuishi Pamoja Group's story

Ms. Ibrahim is a customer of IMF Hekima and the chair of the Tuishi Pamoja village group. She is married, 43 years old and has six children, all of whom are in school. Her husband is unemployed.

Ibrahim sells stones for construction. She launched this building eight years ago with the starting funds she obtained herself thanks to her salary. Later on Ibrahim joined the Hekima loan program to support her business, and has been expanding it gradually.

With this new loan, Ibrahim will stock up three truckloads of building stones, bolstering her initial capital. Her business is not facing any issues. Ibrahim would like to see her children continue their education as well as to keep developing her business. In conclusion she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting entrepreneurs who lack access to traditional banking.
