A loan helped to buy a solar-powered freezer system for her business.

Ena's story

Ena lives in the Yoro community in Honduras. She is 36 years old and starting a small business selling food and other general products. With the goal of growing her business, she is starting to sell dairy products, meat, and other products that need to be refrigerated. However, she currently has a limitation, since there is no electrical energy access in the area where she lives. Due to this, she has to stock up and have these refrigerated products in coolers, which is expensive since she has to buy ice daily, which is reflected in her earnings.

It is for this reason that Ena is asking for a loan from Soluz Honduras to obtain a solar freezer system that will help her be able to serve her clients better and above all not waste on the purchase of ice and not have to travel large distances to get it. This way, her business will grow its earnings and her clients will be satisfied.
