A loan helped to buy a better breed of sows and adapt their stalls.

Marcos's story

Marcos has worked for over ten years in the breeding and sale of fattening pigs and breeding sows. He lives in Villagarzon Putumayo. He started with one breeding sow and, little by little, with savings from other jobs, managed to obtain three more breeding sows and start selling pork by the kilo.

Marcos now has a plot of land, a wooden house and adequate facilities to strengthen his livestock business. He is applying for a 3,088,000 COP loan to buy sows of a better breed and adapt their stalls, thus enabling him to achieve higher earnings.
