A loan helped to buy manure, fungicides, fertilizers and hire workers for crop maintenance.

Rocio De Lourdes's story

Rocio, 43, lives with her family in a very remote community called Guanibuela in the canton of Urcuqui, province of Imbabura in northern Ecuador.

Rocio works at a factory and also works in agriculture. She is currently growing passion fruit and is therefore applying for a loan to buy manure, fungicides, fertilizers and hire workers for crop maintenance since the drought season has been very forceful, requiring more care so as not to affect crop quality to be able to sell at a good market price.

Rocio is very grateful for the support since it will allow her to continue working with her crops.
