Cecilia is 61 years old and lives with her family in the parish of Cahuasqui, which belongs to the canton of Urcuquí in the province of Imbabura in northern Ecuador.
Cecilia has worked in agriculture from a very young age, working family land. At this time, she has a heirloom tomato crop and a pepper crop. In addition, she works as a laborer on neighboring land on the days she does not have to work her own crops.
Cecilia is asking for a loan to purchase greenhouse plastics and pay labor costs to maintain the crop, as the drought season has been very hard and requires greater care so that it does not affect the yield and so it can be sold at a good price in the market.
Cecilia is very grateful for the help and trust that is offered to her as her crops are her primary source of income.
