Alpha's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 45-year-old Alpha from Rokupr branch. He is a married businessman with four children between the ages of 5 and 20 years old. Three are currently attending school. He started this business to care of his family.

Alpha runs a retail business and sells provisions to his customers around the community. He has been in this business for the past 18 years. Alpha say that his challenge is the increase in the cost of goods in the market.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more provisions, such as sugar and milk, to increase his business. Alpha says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of his family. In the future, he would like to establish his business to a larger scale. He says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
