Jorge is 55 years old and lives with his family in the parish of Liberty, located in the district of Espejo, the Province of Carchi. The area is known for its fertile soil and its diverse natural life.
Jorge has been working in agriculture for the past 35 years. He has a lot of experience growing potatoes. Thanks to his father he has ample knowledge, because his dad taught him to work the land, seek sustenance, and offer his family a good quality of life.
Jorge is asking for a loan in order to buy potato seeds, fertilizers, and to pay for manual labor for preparing the soil and beginning planting. According to the calendar and his own vision, this is a good time to plant for a quality product that he can sell at a good price at market. Jorge is very grateful for the help and confidence that has been offered since his crop is his principle source of income.
