A loan helped a member to buy jugs of water in bulk.

801 El Hormiguero Group's story

The Communal Bank “801 El Homiguero” is part of the El Carmen agency. This group consists of nine members who are friends and neighbors from the same area. It is led by a Board of Directors in which Sra. Aracely is the president.

Aracely is 36 years old, in a common-law relationship, and has three children. She currently has a business selling water from her home. The loan she is receiving now will be used to increase her capital for buying jugs of water in bulk. She will buy her products from vendors at the markets in the city of Trinidad. Afterward, she will sell her merchandise from her home. By working in this manner, she is able to support her family financially. Her aspirations are to continue growing her business and have a furnished home.

Aracely asks that the lenders place their trust in her Communal Bank group.

In this group: Miguel Angel, Aracely, Leonilda, Betthy, Paulina, Gerson, Gabriela, Milton Javier, Yessenia
