801 Apocalipto Group's story

The Communal Bank “801 Apocalipto” is part of the El Carmen agency. This group consists of nine members who are friends and neighbors from the same area. They are led by a Board of Directors in which Sra. Josefa is the president.

Josefa is 50 years old, single, and has four children. She currently has a home-based business selling cosmetics. The loan she is receiving now will be used to acquire products in bulk. She buys her merchandise from vendors at the markets in the city of Trinidad. Afterward, she will sell these products from her business. By working in this manner, Josefa is able to generate income to support her family. Her aspirations are to grow her business and have a furnished home.

Josefa asks the lenders to place their trust in her Communal Bank group.

In this group: Damaris, Samuel, Natali, Eliana, Yomara, Celia , Martha, Josefa, Mirtha
