Idris's story

Idris is 32 years old, married, and a father of five children. After successfully repaying his previous loans, he decided to take another loan from Babban Gona. The profits that resulted from his previous loan were used to build a better house for his family, as well as pay his children’s school fees.

Idris is requesting an increased loan to acquire quality farming inputs (fertilizer, herbicides, and seedlings) for cultivating maize to improve his farming activity, as the cost of fertilizers has increased by 100%. As a result, he plans to use the anticipated profits to meet his family's basic needs while also sending his other children to school.

His ambitions for the future include purchasing more farmland and becoming financially secure.
