A loan helped to buy a sewing machine for a home-based sewing business.

Mona's story

Mona, a 28-year-old Jordanian mother of three, has always been a source of strength and determination for her family. Despite her husband’s steady job in public security, Mona realized that their income might not be enough to ensure a stable and secure future for their children. Determined to make a difference and contribute to her family's financial security, she took a bold step and started her own small business.

After receiving sewing training, Mona recognized a growing need for tailoring services in her community. She launched her business, offering personalized sewing services to neighbors and local clients. Her skills, dedication, and ability to meet her customers' needs have helped her business gain traction and earned the trust of her community.

To further expand her business and meet increasing demand, Mona is seeking a 1500 JOD loan. With this loan, she plans to invest in better sewing equipment.

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable and marginalized women in Jordan.
