A loan helped to pay for a large bag of raw kava to cook and sell.

Elodie's story

Elodie, 38, is a married mother of four children, ages 14, 12, 6 and 4 months. She resides with her family in their village south of Efate. Her husband is employed, and three of her children attend school. She currently makes her living selling extremely potent fresh kava juice.

She started her business two years ago with the aim of meeting her family's basic household necessities. Her dream is to grow and sustain her business. Her current plan is to produce more kava juice to sell to her customers. However, she is unable to achieve her plan due to financial constraints.

Elodie is seeking a loan to purchase a large bag of raw kava. The business revenue will be used to cover household essentials and children's school expenses and save money for her future aspirations. With this loan, she is motivated to grow her business and secure a brighter tomorrow for her children.
