A loan helped a member to buy supplies for the preparation and sale of food.

Chulitas Group's story

The “Chulitas” group is made up of enterprising, responsible women committed to improving the quality of life of their families. They live in working-class neighborhoods where living conditions are average.
As is the case of Mrs. Guadalupe, 42 years old, married with 3 school-aged children. She has been dedicated to preparing and selling food for 8 years. This activity allows her to generate income to support her children's school expenses and household expenses.
With her loan, she will buy all the necessary supplies for preparing food.
Guadalupe hopes to open a well-equipped, inexpensive kitchen in a nearby neighborhood to attract more customers.
The rest of the group is made up of the ladies: Heidi, Teresa, Lourdes and Sandra, women who, alongside their family, fight to get ahead.

In this group: Heidi Guadalupe, Teresa De Jesus, Maria Guadalupe, Maria De Lourdes, Sandra
