A loan helped to purchase the banana crop from a plot that is already cultivated in order to supply her business's inventory.

Blanca Mabel's story

Blanca is single and is 53 years old. She did not go to school, her parent's financial situation did not allow her to. She has 3 children. Their ages are 21, 19 and 14 years old. She lives with one of her children, the others are independent. Blanca has been selling bananas for the past 5 years. She learned this work out of necessity to earn more income for her family, as she was recently separated from her partner. She works from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm.

She is requesting a loan to purchase inventory for her business. The loaned funds will be used to purchase banana crops from a plot that is already cultivated which will provide her business with more inventory. Blanca hopes that the investment will allow her to increase her sales and earnings.

Her dreams are to have financial stability and to build her own home.
