Vicenta Dolores's story

Vicenta Dolores and her family live in Picoazá, known for its commerce, religious festivals, and vegetable products, legumes and tropical fruits. It is a source of progress and the hub of informal commerce in Manabí.

Vicenta Dolores and her husband work in their sales of various products such as hammocks, assorted clothing, sets of sheets, plastic products, brooms, mosquito nets, curtains, tablecloths, and special orders from their customers. She works by traveling and selling to customers in their homes, nearby fields, and via WhatsApp and the Internet with home deliveries throughout the country. She leaves her clients the merchandise on credit and collects every 8 days.

This credit is to buy sets of sheets, tablecloths, curtains, hammocks, t-shirts, outfits for boys and girls, robes, sets of glasses, jugs, cutlery, spoons, plates, trays, etc.
