A loan helped a member to buy rice, sugar, oil, soap, and other products in bulk for her store.

Mujeres En Acción Group's story

Victoria is 57 years old and has been enterprising from a very young age. She currently has a convenience store that she established six years ago. This business generates a good income, so she hopes it will continue. Victoria is requesting a Kiva loan from FUNDENUSE to buy rice, sugar, oil, soap, and other products in bulk so that she can reduce her costs and generate more profits.

The solidarity group “Mujeres En Accíon” also includes Corina, who makes and sells tortillas, ground coffee, and Nicaraguan tamales, and Ana, who sells clothes.
