A loan helped a rural woman to pay for seasonal orchard expenses and apple storage costs.

Ediola's story

Ediola, a 45-year-old rural woman, lives with her husband in a small village near Korça, where she and her husband manage a 20-dylym orchard growing apples and cherries. With over a decade of experience, they expand their fruit production each year, maintaining strong partnerships with buyers and suppliers.

She is asking for a second Kiva loan to cover agricultural expenses for her orchards, including storage costs for apples to ensure their quality.

Ediola is grateful for this support, which will allow her to continue growing her family’s income.
