A loan helped to restock canteen goods.

Nanise's story

Despite their hard work, Nanise and her husband never seem to be able to get ahead. Nanise runs a variety canteen in her village but the $40 a day she earns is barely enough for their daily needs.

She seeks a loan to revitalize her business. She will buy bulk supplies of basic goods to fully stock her shelves. If she could earn just another $20 a day, she knows she could support her family and contribute to their education.

This loan is special because:

It provides women with credit in a country where alternative financing is extremely scarce.
