A loan helped to access quality farm inputs and services.

Jato's story

Jato is 38-years-old, married, and the father 5 children. After successfully repaying his previous loans, he has decided to take up another loan with Babban Gona. His previous loan profit was used to buy more nutritious foods, as well as pay his children's school fees. Jato is requesting an increased loan to buy quality farm inputs (fertilizer, herbicides, and seedlings) for his maize farming to improve his farming activity, as the cost of fertilizers has increased by 100%. As a result, he plans to use the anticipated profit to meet his family's basic needs while also sending his other children to school. His ambitions for the future include purchasing more farmland and becoming financially secure.
