Leoncio Israel's story

Leoncio Israel is 19 years old, single, and lives in his parents' house in the parish of San Placido, in the canton of Portoviejo, an agricultural place par excellence of hardworking people dedicated to the tasks of the field and raising animals.

He is a very hardworking man who seeks the way to earn the necessary resources which allow him to forge a better future and also to help his parents get ahead. He works raising broiler pigs. He has some breeding sows which he hopes to inseminate genetically. Once the pigs are born, he keeps them until they have an adequate weight and sells to merchants who come to the place to purchase.

This loan is to purchase embryos as well as feed and medicine for the pigs.
