Josephine's story

Josephine resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 49 years old and has two dependents. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store, selling basic commodities. She has been in this business for many years.
Now she asks for a loan in the amount of 30,000 PHP through Kiva’s field partner, CEV (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan to buy grocery items to sell in her store.
