A loan helped to buy supplies like flour, eggs, honey, and sugar, among other items, in order to make bread.

Sonia's story

Sonia, age 57, went to school through the ninth grade. She is single, and she has a child who is independent.

Sonia has devoted herself to making and selling sweet bread and French bread for 21 years. She started with the teaching from her parents. The bakery is in her own house. Therefore, she does not travel a long distance. She works from 3:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. She gets help from her son and her daughter-in-law.

Sonia needs the loan to buy supplies like flour, eggs, honey, and sugar, among other items, in order to make bread.

Sonia dreams of getting greater earnings and of seeing her business grow.
