A loan helped to purchase materials, like chicken wire to fix the pen and watering and feeding troughs for hens.

Mirna Lorena's story

Mirna is 36 years old. She went to school until sixth grade. She is married and her husband works in agriculture. She has three dependent children and lives with her husband and children.

Mirna earns her living raising and selling barnyard chickens. She has ten years of experience, and she learned the trade during a training in her community. The pen and the hens are kept at her home, so she doesn't have far to travel. Mirna works from 6:00am to 6:00pm, and her children help her out. Additionally, she works as a domestic.

Mirna needs the loan so she can purchase materials, like chicken wire to fix the pen and chicken watering and feeding troughs. Mirna hopes to make improvements to the chicken pen and to give all best to her children.
