Ana is forty-four years old, single, and the mother of a child. For approximately seven years, she has worked making and selling nacatamales and enchiladas, an activity she learned from her mother.

With Karelis, who has a convenience store and Ana Yanire and Miurel, who sell enchiladas and nacatamales, she forms the Mujeres Emprendedoras Siare group.
