A loan helped to buy seeds and agricultural supplies. He will also buy a high-technology irrigation system for his crops of cacao and green plantains.

Darwin Luis's story

This is Darwin, a 40-year-old man who is known to be a man of the country, as well as honest and enterprising. He lives with his family, made up of his wife who is a humble housewife, and his children. His children regularly attend a rural school in the area of Isabel María. This is also where they live, in a small house that they managed to build with a great deal of effort on land Darwin inherited from his parents.

To provide the necessities for his home, Darwin works in agriculture, while also working as a day laborer. This is how he makes a daily living while his products are being harvested.

Green plantains and cacao are the principal products Darwin takes to market. He wants to expand, and for that reason is seeking a loan to buy seeds and agricultural supplies. He will also buy a high-technology irrigation system in order to maintain constant water for his plants, so that the summer doesn't affect his production. In this way he can continue improving his living conditions and those of his family.
