A loan helped to buy clothes for a home-based trading business.

Heba's story

Heba, a 38 year old Jordanian mother of five, has always been a pillar of strength for her family. With her husband's job as a a technician, they have worked tirelessly to provide for their children and secure a better future. Despite their efforts, they both know there is still more they can achieve to improve their lives.

Recognizing a gap in the market for affordable, everyday clothing in her community, Heba took a bold step and started her own business, selling basic clothing essentials to friends, neighbors, and community members.

She is now seeking a 700 JOD loan to diversify her stock, to offer a wider variety of clothing to meet the needs of her customers. With this loan, Heba plans to expand her inventory, attract more clients, and cater to a broader range of fashion tastes, enhancing her reputation as a trusted local supplier.

This loan is special because:

It empowers the most vulnerable and marginalized women in Jordan.
