A loan helped to pay for vegetable seeds.

Parsman's story

Parsman I. lives in the village of Chapala, Kartli Region, together with his family – his wife and 22-year-old son. This part of Georgia is known for its rich soil and consequently agriculture is well developed there. Agricultural family business is the main source of income for Parsman’s family. They own a 1.1 ha plot of the land, where potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes and haricot beans are grown. The harvested vegetables are sold on the local market.

With the requested amount Parsman plans to purchase seeds for the vegetables. After the hard work, the family will sell the vegetables at the harvest season. With the income, they plan to cover the cost of education for their son, and also renovate their house, purchase some furniture, and put aside some fertilizers for the next season.
