A loan helped a member to buy steers and sheep to resell after fattening them up.

Ngueye-Ngueye Group's story

This group was created on June 3, 2011. The group members maintain very good ties. Their main work is in raising livestock.

Ayou, with her hand raised in the photo, is the group’s representative. She is 51, married, and the mother of five children, including four boys. And she has two other children to support.

With her loan, she is buying sheep and steers to fatten up and resell at the weekly markets in her town. She enjoys very good experience in this domain for having done it for over fifteen years.

Her earnings allow her to diversify her businesses and to help meet the needs of her family.

In this group: Ayou, Amy
