A loan helped to buy ingredients and supplies for her food pack.

Maria's story

Roti with curry along with fruit juice are a popular food in all Fijian communities. Maria sells these foods in her local town and earns $40 a day for her efforts.

Although her food are popular, Maria does not have enough capital to carry a large stock of ingredients and supplies, so cannot take full advantage of her endeavor. Maria has requested a loan as working capital for her food business. She is sure she can boost her income and, with higher earnings, will be able to provide a better home for her family.
