Aida's story

This group has been in existence since December 2008. It is made up of women who live in the same community who have family ties and very strong solidarity. Their main business is raising animals.

Aida, who is in the photo, is married and the mother of four children. She is a merchant with a number of years of experience. She buys fabric and ready-to-wear clothing in the surrounding weekly markets and from wholesalers. She then displays them in her shop and resells them in her community.

With this loan she will sustain her business. Moreover the benefits from her business will allow her to put aside savings in order to strengthen her business and provide for her family.
