Sindiane Group's story

This group was created in July 2006. There is good cohesion in this group and most of the members live in the same community. The group representative Seynabou, on the right in the photo with her hand raised, has been a member of the banc villageois since it was formed. At 67 years of age she is the mother of five children, three of who are girls. She buys vegetables in the community market to then sell in the surrounding villages. She has a lot of experience in this work. With the earnings she obtains she will take care of part of the household day-to-day expenses and strengthen her business.
