Teogenes's story

Teogenes resides in the province of Bohol. He is 51 years old and has two dependents. He makes a living by selling imported used clothes, bags, and shoes known as "ukay-ukay" to the locals. He has been in this livelihood for nine years.

Now he asks for a loan through Kiva’s lending partner CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. He will use this loan for additional capital to buy bundles of assorted ukay-ukay.

Teogenes dreams of expanding this business in the future and becoming productive.
