A loan helped a member to buy merchandise like smoked fish, stock and spices.

Benkadi Group's story

Sitan is the one in the picture who is holding onto the merchandise and standing in front of the bowl of smoked fish.

She is 40 years old, married and has 2 children aged 6 and 11 who both attend school. She sells food like smoked fish, spices, sugar and milk that she gets at her local market and resells to retail customers in her neighbourhood. Her business, which earns her a profit of around 20,000 CFA francs a month, is profitable as all of her community buy their staples from her.

She is requesting a loan from RMCR with the goal of increasing her profit so that she can cover her children's school fees and ensure a bright future for them.
