Ndiop 1 Group's story

The group was created on April 17, 2010. The women get along perfectly with one another. Their main work is in retail commerce and in raising sheep.

Adama, the group's representative, is a widow and a mother of eight children, including four sons. She is 54 years old. She does commerce in millet and peanuts, and she raises sheep. She gets her supplies of goods and of sheep in the region, fattens up the sheep, and then resells them at the markets in nearby regions.

With her earnings, she is ensuring her children's food, education, and healthcare.
