A loan helped to buy a chainsaw that will simplify the cleaning of his crops.

Jorge's story

Jorge is a young farmer from Acevedo, Huila, with 18 years of experience. He manages a two-hectare plot where he has planted over 9,000 coffee plants alongside 300 banana trees that provide shade and protection for his coffee plants. Jorge cleans his crops using manual tools such as machetes and rakes; although this method is effective, it is labor-intensive and time-consuming.

Jorge lives with his wife and two children in a house they built together. His wife supports him in managing the household while he works on his agricultural tasks.

A loan of $3,278,357 COP allows Jorge to purchase a chainsaw, which will facilitate his work in the fields, saving time and effort in maintaining his production.
