A loan helped to buy a motorcycle that will simplify the transport of his agricultural production.

Yeiner's story

Yeiner is a young farmer from Santander de Quilichao, Cauca who began cultivating at the age of 12. He has a two-hectare plot with over 8,000 coffee plants and 300 banana trees, which he harvests monthly. After harvesting, he transports his production in an old wheelbarrow to a processing plant 25 minutes away. This transport mode decreases his productivity and requires significant physical effort.

Yeiner lives with his mother in a house located in the middle of his land. His mother is also a farmer and supports him in cultivating his crops.

A loan of $6,653,100 COP allows Yeiner to buy a motorcycle that will simplify the transport of his harvest. This new means of mobility will optimize his efficiency, time, and effort in agricultural tasks.
