A loan helped a member to purchase supplies for the sale of anticuchos.

Marquina Group's story

Virginia Herbas is a 52-year-old single woman with three children. She has been selling anticuchos for 14 years, starting with her mother in the Vinto Plaza.

Ms. Virginia hopes to acquire more supplies to increase the sales of her product because she gets up early to take care of her children, goes to the market for supplies, prepares and then sells her anticuchos.

Previously, she obtained a loan that helped her to increase sales in her business, but the profits were used to help her children finish their studies. With this new loan, she hopes that her profits will help her to increase her sales and thus fulfill her biggest dream of buying her little house.
