Gloria Margarita's story

Gloria Margarita and her family live in the city of Portoviejo. It was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Gloria Margarita is very grateful for the loans. With them, her sales are growing. She works in her home everyday selling in her general store. She sells Boom cleaning products from a catalog (for clothing, floors, bathrooms, and kitchens), charcoal for grilling, soda, and water. On weekend nights, she makes and sells chicken wings and pork rinds, accompanied by salads and grilled plantains.

This loan is to buy pork, beef, chicken, deli meats, vegetables, sodas, water, juice, milk, bread, and other grocery items to stock her store.
