Alba, 30, lives in Guatajiagua, Morazán Department, with her husband and three children: Kevin, 11, Eduardo, 3 and Líbida, 13. Alba works making earthenware. She learned this occupation while still a little girl from her mother. Her work schedule is from 8am until whatever time she finishes depending on the number of griddles she has to deliver. Her difficulty arises when she has demand but raw materials are scarce.
She is requesting the loan to buy raw materials like: clay, nacazcol (seeds that yield a black dye) and firewood because, without these materials, Alba can’t fill her orders. The loan will help her have what she needs for production.
Her plan is to make good use of the loan, that it be profitable for the business and to continue growing; to make her production competitive that will generate the necessary profits to help her family.
