My Business is a Good Vibe Shop that has natural and non-toxic products to aid the community in growth & connection. I am a self-published author, with books in poetry, self-help & youth books. I also make handmade custom crystal jewelry for all, in any size, any pattern you want. I have community bead classes for all, to aid with mental and emotional support, which include birthday parties, private events & more. My business operates in Tacoma-Seattle WA area mostly and very low online engagement. I have a pop up camper that I am hoping to get running with this loan to allow me to operate in more mobile locations. In 2016, while in GA, where I am from, I decided to start this business. I graduated with honors with my MBA and started it in 2018. I started it because I wanted to take control of my financial destiny by providing positive products that uplift and aid our community. Before this business I have had countless customer service jobs that did not share the same values or ethics as I did, with love for people and the diverse community, so I decided to invest in myself and love the community through my products.

I am applying for this loan because I want to bridge the racial, economic, and social disparities with the products, services and activities in my business. I want to provide a community space for positive experiences that help with community growth, unity & enlightenment. I am applying for this loan so that I can extend the exposure of the Good Vibes Shop statewide and my natural non-toxic products can help even more of the community. This loan will positively enhance my business by helping me acquire more necessary equipment, money for essential growth services, like website services, marketing and advertising, and product purchasing for future community activities. It will be a great foundation to elevate my business model, create a more converting look, and potentially gaining more customers. This loan will directly impact my business production by 100% because I will have supplies and equipment that will allow me to create more high quality options for all in bulk, for amazon fulfillment, and local wa shop consignments. I will also be able to publish more books on self-help, affirmations, poetry and children poetry and affirmations, and distribute them nationwide to bookstores. "Partial" means that the Lending Partner has opted to cover losses only up to 10%. If the U.S. dollar appreciates more than 10% against the local currency, those losses will be passed onto lenders.
"No" means that the Lending Partner is not covering any currency losses and all losses will be passed onto lenders.
"N/A" means the Lending Partner disburses loans to borrowers in USD so their loans are not subject to any currency fluctuation.

Our partners collect interest from borrowers because there are many operational expenses associated with microfinance in developing markets, especially in rural areas. Many of Kiva's Lending Partners also provide additional services alongside their loan products such as business training, financial literacy lessons, or health services.
Kiva will not partner with an organization that charges unreasonable interest rates, and we require Lending Partners to fully disclose their rates. In addition, we only partner with microfinance institutions and organizations that have a social mission to serve the poor, unbanked, and underserved.
