A loan helped to purchase more animals to increase her sales.

Rabia's story

Financial constraints and the desire for a better life and good quality education for her 2 children are a few factors that encouraged Rabia to start her business selling animals by taking a loan from Kashf Foundation. Rabia is 30 years old; she is a married woman. She buys animals (baby goats & calves) at low prices, brings them up, and then sells on the market at higher prices. She makes enough through her business to contribute to the family income. She also sells milk to generate extra income.

She needs to improve her business to pay her household expenses. For this reason, she contacted Kashf Foundation and applied a loan of PKR 50,000 to purchase more animals to increase her sales. She is very experienced and has good contacts in the market. With this loan, she will definitely expand her business and income level.

This loan is special because:

It helps entrepreneurial women work towards economic equality.
