A loan helped to buy livestock to increase her livestock income.

Burul's story

Burul says hello from Kyrgyzstan. She successfully repaid her earlier loan and is grateful to Kiva for the financing that was provided to her. Thanks to the help of Kiva and all of the lenders, Burul was able to buy more livestock.

Now Burul is hoping once again to get a loan and she applied to the bank "Bai Tushum." She wants to receive 20,000 som (KGS) to buy livestock so that she can increase her income from raising livestock. Burul's farm today has 10 sheep, 2 horses, and 8 cows. She has all the conditions necessary to keep livestock on her property. The region where Burul lives is wonderfully suited for raising livestock. Every summer she sends the livestock out to green pastures. The proceeds from the loan will help to improve her family's material conditions. Burul thanks all the Kiva lenders in advance for the support and wishes you all the best.
