A loan helped to establish 1.40 hectares of coffee.

Jhoker Yageling's story

Jhoker Yageling is a young coffee farmer, just 21 years old, with a great vision in agriculture. He lives in a community in Wiwili-Jinotega in northern Nicaragua.

He currently has a 11.97-hectare farm, of which 8.45 hectares are designated for coffee plants. He dreams of managing to have a model farm on which he can share his experience with other producers. He lives with his spouse on the farm. In addition to growing coffee, he also grows basic grains.

In this cycle, he is asking for a loan to purchase seedlings, calcium, and zinc, and to pay labor and other costs to be able to establish 1.40 [hectares] with new areas of coffee. In the season, he generates 15 jobs in his community. This is his first loan with PAC SA.
