A loan helped a member to buy chicks for her poultry farm, run with the help of one of her sons.

Sanghé Douka Group's story

This banc villageois was created in August 2000 and is made up of honest women who work in trade. They live in and around the same village and exhibit solidarity among themselves.

Seynabou is a married 51-year-old woman who has five children, among them one daughter; all the children are enrolled in school. She is active in poultry farming. She represents the group and is shown at the right of the photo raising her hand.

She will buy 150 chicks, 5 sacks of chicken feed and one box of vaccines.

She runs her business with one of her boys who helps her; as to sales, there are restaurants who place orders so she has no difficulty selling.

She covers her own expenses and gives financial support to her daughter, who is a university student.

In this group: Seynabou, Rosalie, Amy, Madeleine Codou, Khady
