Robert Samuel's story

Robert Samuel is 46 years old. He is divorced and has three children. One of them is grown and on their own. The other two are 11 and 14 and in elementary and high school. They live in the city of Portoviejo, which was affected by an earthquake on April 16, 2016. The city is rich in its production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Robert Samuel works selling fruit and vegetables in the city market. He rents a stall where his customers come to buy from Monday through Saturday. They always get the best fresh, high quality products.

He is responsible for going to obtain his products from the farms and merchants who sell them. This loan is to buy cilantro, cucumbers, passion fruit, lemons, mangoes, avocados, currants, onions, etc.
