Las Prohibidas Group is made up of independent women entrepreneurs who help out with household expenses. They live in informal settlements where the living conditions are suboptimal.
Such is the case of Sandi, a 28-year-old lady who currently has 3 children of school age. For the past five years, she has engaged in selling chicken meat. She saw in this activity the opportunity to generate income, enabling her to contribute to covering the expenses of her household.
With the loan, she will buy live birds to have them ready to be able to butcher them when necessary for sale by the kilo.
With the previous loan, she bought a digital scale with a higher capacity and feed for the chickens she keeps alive.
Sandi aspires to be able to open another shop and to give employment to more women.
The remaining ladies in the group are Renatta, Lucila, Angelica, Fernanda, Luz, and Jessica, women who go out and seek their livelihood day by day to sustain their families.
In this group: Renatta, Sandi Lizeth, Maria Lucila, Maria Angelica, Maria Fernanda, Luz De Maria, Jessica Liliana
