A loan helped to improve his hotdog cart and to buy raw materials.

Rosemberg's story

Rosemberg G., 20, is a young, studious, entrepreneur. He makes and sells fast food in his business called “Donde Rosenberg.” He started two years ago selling deditos (cookies) by the tray. However, because he’s very curious and forward looking he took a fast food preparation course and asked his father for help. His father gave him the money to buy a hotdog cart and some chairs.

This is how he started to include hotdogs, salchipapas (fried potatoes with fried sausage), hamburgers and grilled meat and chicken skewers to his fast food. A relative currently helps him with the work. He also takes advantage of his sales point to sell minutes of cell phone air time which is an additional source of income. He pays cash for his purchases and is determined to grow permanently. This is why he’s asking Fundación Mario Santo Domingo for his first loan because he needs to do some improvements on his hotdog cart and buy raw materials to increase his working capital.

Rosemberg is very proud of his business because it’s helped him pay his university expenses. He is concentrating on becoming a Lawyer and to strengthening his business style trough modernization.
