A loan helped to buy mulberry for her tapa-making business.

Mo'unga's story

Once every week, Mo'unga joins a group of women in the village, and together they perform the making of tapas. They make different types and sizes of tapas, design and sell out.

Mo'unga also operates a baking business, but this loan is to empower her tapa-making business. She bakes cakes, pies and much more, and sells them out at the retail store in their village, and some from her home.

Mo'unga works hard to maintain her business, and it is only obtained through the support of her loan. She is looking forward to using this loan money to buy mulberry for making more tapas.

This loan is special because:

It provides women with credit in a country where alternative financing is extremely scarce.
