Gloria Marieta's story

This is Gloria, a humble, 66-year-old woman from the countryside. She is a brave, vigorous person who has been able to get ahead thanks to her work in agriculture.

She raises white pigs for slaughter on her own plot of land in the rural area of La Plancha Echeandia, where she is best able to tend to her animals. She also grows some tropical fruits to generate the livelihood to help her husband with the household.

Gloria would like to have the support of a loan to boost her pig farming operation, with hopes of increasing the number of animals and pigpens so that she has greater income. This will enable her to continue to improve living conditions for her husband and herself in old age.
